Commissioning Manager (Energy Storage), DACH

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager (Energy Storage) to lead the on-site execution of energy storage projects across the DACH region. In this role, you will take full ownership of project delivery at site level—from installation and commissioning through to final acceptance and handover—ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesTake overall responsibility for on-site project delivery, including logistics coordination, system installation, commissioning, and final acceptanceDevelop and execute site delivery plans, ensuring alignment with project timelines and resource allocationManage on-site teams and subcontractors, clearly defining roles, responsibilities, and execution prioritiesCoordinate internal resources (engineering, product, supply chain, etc.) to ensure smooth project deliveryAct as the primary on-site interface with clients, EPC contractors, and stakeholders; manage expectations and maintain strong customer relationshipsLead Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and oversee successful project handoverEnsure proper documentation and completion of handover from delivery to O&M (operations & maintenance) teamsJob RequirementsBachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Automation, Renewable Energy, or related fieldsMinimum 3 years of experience in the renewable energy or power industryAt least 1 year of experience in one of the following roles:Energy storage project delivery leadPower plant commissioning managerEPC site managerExperience with large-scale international or utility/C&I energy projects is highly preferredSolid understanding of construction management, commissioning processes, and grid connection proceduresStrong project execution and decision-making capabilities, with a high level of ownership and accountabilityWillingness to travel internationally as requiredFluent in English and German (spoken and written); Chinese is a strong advantageWhat We OfferOpportunity to lead cutting-edge energy storage projects across EuropeDynamic, international working environmentCareer growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding renewable energy company
