Main Responsibilities:Repair, upgrade, and program two-way radiosSet up, adjust, and operate test equipment according to established proceduresMonitor equipment performance and conduct operational testingDocument radio and device performance while validating test resultsTroubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues using approved methods and proceduresCollect and record serial numbers, model numbers, feature information, and test resultsPerform radio depot repair activities and hardware upgradesClean and prepare equipment for final shipmentFollow repair processes, quality standards, and documentation requirementsExpected Contributions (First 90–120 Days):Complete training and become independently productiveSupport repair throughput goals and quality objectivesSuccessfully perform troubleshooting and repair functionsMaintain accurate repair and compliance documentationContribute positively to team performance and customer satisfactionRequired Qualifications:Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology (EET), Electronics Engineering Technology (EE), or equivalent combination of education and experienceKnowledge of two-way radio systems and RF communicationsUnderstanding of RF and electronics theoryExperience using telecommunications test equipment such as: Digital Volt Meters (DVMs)Service MonitorsWatt MetersProficiency with Windows-based applicationsExperience with Microsoft Excel and Google DocsStrong documentation and record-keeping skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentMechanical aptitude and ability to follow established proceduresExperience troubleshooting, repairing, upgrading, programming, and testing electronic equipmentRequired Experience:1 to 3 years of related experience ORAssociate degree in EE/EET with relevant technical experienceExperience includes:Radio depot repair operationsRadio programming and upgradesTroubleshooting and diagnosticsDocumentation and data collectionTelecommunications and RF test equipmentWindows operating systems and computer hardwarePreferred Qualifications:Mechanically inclined with strong hands-on troubleshooting skillsCell phone repair experienceLaptop or computer repair experienceNetworking and computer hardware knowledgeKnowledge of communication systems and RF technologySoftware Proficiency:RequiredMicrosoft ExcelGoogle DocsWindows Operating SystemTraining: Training Duration: Approximately 2 Weeks to 1 MonthGoal: Achieve independent productivity and technical proficiency in repair processes, testing procedures, and documentation requirements
