Reporting to the General Manager and managing one Brand & Communications Designer, you will own the planning and day-to-day delivery of all communications, marketing, PR, content and brand activity — translating the organisation's programmes, services and opportunities into campaigns that build awareness and generate measurable registrations, enquiries, visits, participation and footfall.Strategy and planningDevelop and execute the annual communications and marketing plan, aligned to organisational objectives and approved budget.Maintain an integrated marketing calendar and a rolling content and campaign calendar across three business units — a creative practice, a public programming function and an academy — sequencing activity and resolving conflicts.Advise leadership on audience positioning, campaign opportunities, channel selection, communications risk and launch readiness.Campaigns and demand generationPlan and deliver integrated organic and paid campaigns for memberships, services, programmes, events and strategic initiatives.Set objectives, audiences, calls to action, budgets, channels, timelines and performance measures for every campaign.Drive qualified registrations, enquiries, applications, visits and footfall, tracking conversion from awareness to action with service owners.Source and manage advertising, listing, partnership, signage and promotional opportunities end to end.Content, channels and storytellingOwn editorial direction and the publishing schedule across website, social, newsletters and digital listings.Write, edit, publish and quality-check clear bilingual (Arabic/English) copy — posts, campaigns, web pages, newsletters, press materials and institutional communications.Plan and coordinate photography, video, interviews and on-site coverage, and capture practical day-to-day content yourself where appropriate.Maintain an organised archive of approved assets, coverage, consent records and evergreen content.PR and reputationBuild relationships with relevant media, publications, cultural and creative networks and partners.Prepare press releases, briefing materials, key messages and spokesperson briefs; handle media enquiries and track coverage.Support leadership on sensitive or high-profile communications, ensuring accuracy and approval before publication.Monitor sentiment, reviews and user-generated content under approved moderation protocols.Brand and creative productionSafeguard consistent brand identity, tone of voice and quality standards across every touchpoint.Manage and prioritise the designer's workload; coordinate photographers, videographers, copywriters, translators, media buyers, printers and agencies.Write clear briefs, manage production timelines and approvals, check proofs, and deliver within budget.Keep brand guidelines, templates, presentations, boilerplates, fact sheets and collateral current.Performance, budget and governanceEstablish KPIs, dashboards and reporting routines covering reach, engagement, traffic, leads, registrations, conversion, attendance, footfall, coverage and cost efficiency.Analyse performance and audience insight, report monthly, and adjust content, channel mix, spend and messaging accordingly.Manage the approved budget, purchase requests, supplier scopes, quotations and invoices with Procurement and Finance.Ensure databases, mailing lists, consent records and published materials comply with privacy, IP and approval requirements.What you'll bringBachelor's degree in communications, marketing, PR, media, journalism, business or a related discipline.Minimum 5 years' relevant communications and marketing experience, including at least 2 years coordinating campaigns, suppliers, budgets or team members.Demonstrable track record of personally delivering integrated campaigns and content that generated measurable audience action — not only strategy or agency management.A strong portfolio of campaigns, writing, social content, storytelling, PR or brand work.Excellent written and spoken Arabic and English, including editing and proofreading.Strong grasp of campaign planning, audience segmentation, content strategy, conversion journeys and marketing measurement.Hands-on with major social platforms, website CMS, email marketing, digital advertising, analytics, SEO fundamentals and business listings.Able to produce strong day-to-day content on a smartphone with practical editing tools; Canva, CapCut or Adobe Creative Cloud an advantage.Media relations, press writing, interview preparation and reputation management skills.Strong project management, prioritisation, budgeting, supplier coordination and quality control.Advantageous: experience in cultural or creative organisations, makerspaces, education, design, innovation, entrepreneurship, community-facing venues or experience-led services.The challengeBalancing three different sets of priorities and timelines while maintaining one coherent brand — and consistently turning creative ideas into timely, high-quality, measurable activity.Applications will be reviewed by JAM Event Services.
