Communications Designer(Social, Digital & Publication)We make creative strategic, besides looking good. We design communication that helps people understand, engage and take action.For over two decade, Oculus Design has helped organisations communicate through publications, campaigns and visual communications. As we expand into social media, digital content and AI-assisted creative work, we are looking for a versatile designer who enjoys working across mediums, from annual reports and publications to campaigns and social content.We're also looking for someone who is curious, takes ownership and cares about the details. If you have more experience and wants to place that pushes your thinking process, we also provide opportunities to take the creative lead on selected projects, from developing concepts and visual direction to guiding execution.What You'll Do·      Develop visual communication across publications, social media, digital content and campaigns.·      Create social content including posts, carousels, reels and campaign assets.·      Turn communication objectives and audience insights into clear, engaging creative work.·      Take projects from brief to final delivery, working independently and with the team.·      Explore AI tools such as ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly and other creative technologies.We're Looking For·      2–3 years of experience in a creative agency, design studio or similar environment.·      Strong portfolio in the government sector.·      A portfolio that shows range across digital/social and traditional design.·      Good understanding of communication objectives, with a strong eye for typography, layout and detail.·      Able to manage projects independently while collaborating well with others.·      Curious, adaptable and willing to learn.Bonus Skills·      Experience shooting and creating TikTok using a mobile phone or camera.·      Basic photography or videography skills.·      Premiere Pro, After Effects or CapCut.·      Motion graphics.Why Oculus Design?You'll work across a mix of projects, mediums and clients, combining our strong foundation in communication design and publications with campaigns, social media, digital content and emerging technologies.We don't expect you to tick every box.
