The Odyssey Eating Disorder Network offers a robust continuum of services for adults and adolescents of all genders in multiple states that specialize in a full array of eating disorder diagnoses and co-occurring conditions. Across our eating disorder network, we meet clients where they are in their recovery and provide the necessary therapeutic techniques to empower sustainable freedom. Our expert clinical teams help clients understand recovery is possible by using individualized treatment plans comprised of a combination of evidence-based treatment modalities. Our goal is to make each client feel safe and close to home by conducting all levels of treatment in comfortable and home-like settings designed to offer a clear step-down process, so clients feel continually supported in their recovery journey.DescriptionLocated just north of Cincinnati in Mason, Ohio, Aster Springs Outpatient Cincinnati offers specialized treatment for eating disorders for adults and teens (16+) of all genders in a welcoming, home-like setting that promotes healing and recovery.The Community Outreach Liaison connects clinical partners, clients and families to appropriate clinical resources. The position serves as a liaison and partner to help educate communities, providers, clients and families about eating disorder treatment services. The Community Outreach Liaison supports local admissions acting as a concierge welcoming incoming clients, families, and clinical partners to the facility.Relationships and ContactsWithin the organization: Maintains frequent and close working relationships with clients and families, facility and national leadership teams, and peers throughout the organization.Outside the organization: Initiates and maintains strong professional relationships with clinical providers, referral partners and vendors, as needed.Essential ResponsibilitiesCollaborates with local and national leadership team members to identify and cultivate strong community partnerships, elevating the facility's presence in the local market.Target follow-up meetings with all key referral sources ensuring internal and external obstacles to growth and retention are identified, minimized, and/or eliminated.Schedules and conducts tours with referral sources, clients and families.Communicates various levels of care to potential clients, families, and referral sources.Guides clients and families toward appropriate treatment options, effectively highlighting the benefits of treatment at the Outpatient Center in relation to the clients individual needs and circumstances;Obtains necessary information to quickly determine viability of potential admission,Resolves challenges posed by clients and families ambivalent about committing to necessary and beneficial treatment options,Empathically but prescriptively leading callers to the next step of deciding on admission,Determines the clinical and financial viability of potential admissions,Articulates the value and fit of facility programming to each potential clients circumstances and needs.Utilizes appropriate bonding techniques to establish rapport, build relationships, and enhance customer service and support.Offers a high level of customer service and communication to referral sources, clients and families.Partners with admissions decision-makers and stakeholders including client, family members, professional referral sources, facility administration, clinical leadership, admitting physicians and utilization review coordinators.Coordinates with the business office and Utilization Review to determine financing options for potential clients.QualificationsMinimum RequirementsEducation and ExperiencePosition requires a bachelors degree, Master degree preferred, and 2+ years of related experience in clinical admissions and business development in a healthcare setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Other RequirementsPosition requires incumbent to have a valid drivers license, vehicle insurance and a clear driving record for the last three years.What we offer:Collaborative environment dedicated to clinical excellenceMultiple Career Development PathwaysCompany Supported Continuing Education & CertificationMultiple Health Plan OptionsFlexible Dental & Vision Plan Options100% Company Paid EAP Emotional Well-Being Support100% Company Paid Critical Illness (with health enrollment plan)100% Company Paid Life & ADD401K with Company MatchCompany-Sponsored HSA, FSA, & DSA Tax Savings AccountsGenerous Team Member Referral ProgramParental LeaveAster Springs Outpatient reserves the rights to modify, interpret, or apply this job description in any way the organization desires.
