Team members work in a collaborative environment where continuous learning, professional integrity, and customer service are highly valued.Job locations:Hadayek Al Ahram, Al Haram, Giza.El Tabba, 10th District of East Nasr City.Role Description The Community Pharmacist at GPS is a full-time, on-site role based in Giza and Cairo. The pharmacist is responsible for: 1. Dispensing medications accurately, 2. Reviewing prescriptions for potential interactions, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and pharmacy standards. 3. Day-to-day tasks include counseling patients on proper medication use, side effects, and health conditions; managing inventory and storage of medicines; and supervising pharmacy technicians and support staff as needed. 4. Maintaining detailed records, handling insurance and reimbursement queries, and supporting public health initiatives such as vaccination campaigns and health awareness programs.QualificationsRelevant academic background, such as a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (BPharm) or equivalent, with valid licensure or eligibility to practice as a pharmacist in Egypt.Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations, and good pharmacy practice guidelines.Ability to provide clear, empathetic patient counseling and deliver excellent customer service in a busy community setting.Good organizational, time management, and basic computer skills to handle prescriptions, documentation, and inventory systems.Attention to detail and adherence to safety, ethical, and legal standards related to medication dispensing and storage.Ability to work collaboratively with pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals, and to adapt to changing patient needs.Previous experience in a community or retail pharmacy environment is an advantage; fluency in Arabic and working proficiency in English are beneficial.
