About usEmbedded Health Solutions is seeking an experienced Company Accountant to join its Melbourne CBD office, supporting the financial operations of both Embedded Health Solutions and its related private investment and property interests within Del Monaco Group.This is a unique opportunity to work across two established and growing privately owned businesses operating in the healthcare and property sectors. The role offers broad exposure, variety, and the chance to play a key role in the financial management of a diverse portfolio of entities and investments.The OpportunityAs Company Accountant, you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting across Embedded Health Solutions and Del Monaco Group. Working closely with the leadership teams, you will help ensure accurate financial management, compliance, and reporting across both businesses.What you'll be doingManaging a team of 2 staff, Payroll and AR/APMaintaining accurate financial records using XeroReconciling bank accounts, trust accounts, and property-related ledgersManaging accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cashflow trackingPreparing and lodging BAS/IASAssisting with tax compliance and audit preparationSupporting monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc financial reportingContributing to budgeting and forecasting activitiesSupporting financial administration across healthcare, property, and investment entitiesUpholding the highest standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and accuracyWhat we're looking forDemonstrated experience in financial accounting and reporting within a similar or corporate environmentStrong understanding of Australian taxation and compliance requirementsAdvanced proficiency with XERO and Microsoft Excel, including advanced spreadsheet functions and data analysis.Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skillsAbility to work independently, take ownership of financial processes whilst leading a small teamStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience within healthcare, property, investment, or privately owned businesses will be highly regardedEmployment Hero payroll experience is advantageousWhat we offerExposure to both healthcare and property investment sectorsA diverse role with broad responsibilities and autonomyDirect access to decision-makers and business leadershipA stable, long-term position within established private enterprisesA supportive, professional, and values-driven working environmentWellbeing support through our EAP programDiscounts through Employment Hero Benefits and PerksApply nowIf you are an experienced Company Accountant looking for your next opportunity to make a significant contribution to a growing organisation, we would like to hear from you.
