Phoenix Search is partnering with a prestigious organisation in Dubai to appoint an experienced Fair Trade & Competition Policy Analyst / Researcher.This is a rare opportunity to influence the development of competition and fair trade policy, contribute to regulatory reform, and support strategic economic initiatives that have a significant impact on the region. Working alongside senior stakeholders, you'll conduct in-depth legal and policy research, develop evidence-based recommendations, and help shape best practice through international benchmarking and regulatory analysis.The RoleKey responsibilities include:Leading research into competition law and fair trade policy.Conducting comparative analysis of international legal and regulatory frameworks.Developing policy recommendations and strategic reports.Reviewing legislation and supporting regulatory reform initiatives.Producing executive-level briefings and policy papers.Building relationships with senior stakeholders across a range of sectors.Managing policy and research projects from inception through to delivery.About YouYou'll ideally have:A Bachelor's degree in Law.At least six years' experience in competition law, regulatory policy, public policy, legal research or a related field.Experience gained within regulatory bodies, law firms, consulting, international organisations or similar environments.Strong knowledge of competition law, fair trade regulation or broader regulatory frameworks.Excellent analytical and research skills with the ability to translate complex legal issues into practical policy recommendations.Outstanding written communication and stakeholder management skills.Strong project management capabilities with experience delivering multiple workstreams.
