Compiler Engineer / Up to $300k + Equity / Greenfield OpportunityI’m working with an ambitious AI infrastructure company developing a portable compiler platform for high-performance machine-learning workloads.They are looking for an experienced Compiler Engineer to work across the optimization pipeline, transforming high-level model graphs into efficient machine code for a range of hardware architectures.You will:Design and evolve compiler intermediate representationsBuild graph transformations including fusion, tiling, layout optimization, constant folding and dead-code eliminationDevelop instruction selection, register allocation and target-specific code generationImplement loop optimization, vectorization, unrolling and parallelizationAutomate kernel generation for heterogeneous hardwareAnalyze performance data to improve throughput and latencyCollaborate across compiler, runtime and hardware teamsThey are looking for:4+ years of compiler engineering experienceStrong C/C++Deep knowledge of compiler algorithms, IRs and optimization passesExperience with graph optimization, low-level code generation or bothUnderstanding of GPU or accelerator memory and execution architecturesExperience with LLVM, MLIR, XLA, PyTorch compilation, TensorRT, affine or polyhedral analysis, quantization, sparsity and ML workloads would be particularly valuable.This is an opportunity to own foundational compiler technology with a direct impact on how modern AI models execute across diverse hardware.
