The group owns how efficiently customer workloads translate onto the hardware, and they're bringing in a Compiler Software Engineer to work on optimisation quality across the toolchain.You'll sit inside the core compiler group, working between backend code generation and the framework layer, with scope to contribute upstream alongside production work.What you'll work on:Finding where the toolchain leaves performance on the table, using benchmarking and code analysisInvestigating new approaches to optimisation that take advantage of newer processor capabilitiesBuilding compiler features and optimisations that serve modern machine learning workloadsWhat we're looking for:Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related disciplineEarly-career experience with compilers or developer tooling, whether from industry or researchFamiliarity with a production compiler framework such as LLVM or GCC a strong plusC/C++ a strong plusUpstream contributions to an open source compiler project welcomeSolid computer architecture grounding welcomeFull details on the company will be shared once you're through to the next stage.APPLY NOW to discuss further details.5V Tech are acting as an Employment Agency for the purposes of this position.
