Candidates outside of Florida or Georgia must reside in a state where the company is already established.Pay Rate: $20+/hr., based on experienceAbout the RoleWe’re looking for a Compliance Account Manager to join our Compliance team. This role works closely with benefits brokers and clients to coordinate compliance services, answer questions, and make sure work is completed accurately, on time, and with excellent customer service.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and paying attention to the details. You don’t have to know every compliance rule when you start. We’re looking for someone who is willing to learn, asks good questions, thinks things through, and takes ownership of their work.The right person will be comfortable managing multiple priorities, communicating with clients and coworkers, and knowing when to handle something independently and when to ask for help.What You’ll DoServe as a primary point of contact for assigned brokers and clients.Coordinate compliance services from start to finish and keep projects moving toward completion.Review client and plan information for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.Maintain accurate client and service information in proprietary software and internal systems.Track deadlines, renewals, outstanding information, and service status.Prepare, process, and review Health & Welfare compliance services, including plan documents and nondiscrimination testing.Communicate compliance information clearly and in a way that is easy for clients and brokers to understand.Respond to questions and requests, research answers when needed, and follow issues through to resolution.Identify information that is missing, inconsistent, or doesn't make sense and take the appropriate next step.Recognize potential compliance concerns and work with the appropriate team member to determine how they should be addressed.Participate in team meetings, training, and department projects.Build strong relationships with brokers, clients, and internal teams.Look for ways to improve processes and make the compliance experience easier for our clients and broker partners.What We’re Looking ForWe’re looking for someone who is:Detail oriented and takes pride in accurate work.Organized and able to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.A problem solver who doesn't stop at the first answer.Comfortable asking questions when something doesn't make sense.Accountable and follows through on commitments.A strong communicator who can explain information clearly and professionally.Customer focused and genuinely enjoys helping people.Curious and willing to learn, particularly in the areas of employee benefits and compliance.A team player who is willing to help others and contribute to a positive work environment.Comfortable working with technology, data, and multiple systems.Compliance KnowledgeA working knowledge of employee benefits or Health & Welfare compliance is helpful, but we understand that the right candidate may not know everything coming into the role.The ability and willingness to learn are just as important.Over time, you’ll develop knowledge of areas such as ERISA, Section 125, COBRA, ACA, nondiscrimination testing, and other Health & Welfare compliance requirements. And when you make a mistake, you take ownership, fix it, and learn from it.Most importantly, you care about doing the job correctly, not just getting the job done.Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience in employee benefits, insurance, compliance, account management, or a related field is preferred.Experience working directly with clients or business partners is a plus.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software and systems.
