Compliance Analyst - Asset Management

A leading global asset management firm is hiring a Compliance Analyst to support its Taiwan compliance function. You would help identify and manage compliance and regulatory issues for the business, supporting policies, monitoring, training and a positive compliance culture. Roughly 70%+ general compliance, with AML/financial crime support.YOUR FOCUS

• Provide compliance and regulatory advice to the Taiwan business and support risk-based monitoring, surveillance and reporting
• Work with the compliance team to deliver and refresh policies, procedures and standards
• Support new products and initiatives for Taiwan and the region, including regulatory analysis
• Review marketing materials daily against group standards and local rules
• Advise based on local regulations, global best practice, fiduciary duty and commercial objectives
• Help prepare management and committee papers
• Support the business, legal and risk on complaints, breaches and errors
• Provide staff training and advice, and work with global and regional compliance, risk, audit and legal on regulatory change
• On AML/financial crime: apply knowledge of local and international AML/CFT frameworks, produce regulatory reporting, support AML examinations and arrange AML/CFT trainingWHAT WE'RE AFTER
• A degree in accounting, business or law
• 5-8 years in a compliance or audit role within asset management or wider financial services (AML/CFT a plus, not essential)
• Strong knowledge of Taiwan regulatory requirements and asset management products; mandates and unit trust experience essential, ETF experience a plus
• Clear communicator across functions and markets
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and lead
• Collaborative, proactive and solutions-focused, able to work independently and take ownership
• Strong attention to detail and good time and project management
• Fluent written and spoken Chinese and English
