Compliance Analyst

Eden Rose is currently engaged with a financial institution based in Dubai who are seeking a Compliance Analyst to join their compliance team.Reporting to the Compliance Officer and MLRO, the Compliance Analyst ensures that the firm stays up to date with regulatory requirements, implements necessary changes, and maintains robust compliance policies and procedures.Key Responsibilities:Keep up to date with relevant regulations, horizon scanning and impact assessments, including circulars/recommendations from the Regulatory bodies and continuously ensure that the company’s policies and procedures adhere to these.Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement robust compliance policies and procedures.Responsible for maintaining CDD profiles for completeness and verification to determine plausibility based on the information provided or any inconsistency detected.Ongoing monitoring and improvement of the operational systems and controls framework based on the local policies.Supporting with Financial Crime Compliance & Compliance related risk assessmentsMonitoring of circulars and press releases to ensure compliance with applicable economic sanctions regimes.Assist with Legal team support and projects as required.The Compliance Analyst will hold a Bachelor’s degree, a degree in Law would be preferred, and you will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Compliance support function within the UAE, ideally within a financial institution. You will have experience in a KYC/ AML Investigations role and pursuing or holding ACAMS, ACFCS, ICA or equivalent Certification would be an asset. You will be fluent in English language and have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.This is an excellent opportunity with a financial institution in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
