This Position to support the implementation of an effective ethics and compliance program within CCAD through research, drafting of written guidance, delivery of training, administrative support, and process enablement, ensuring the company complies with applicable laws, regulations, group policies, and ethical obligations. To incorporate global best practices and ensure compliance risks are identified and abated. Work closely with the Company’s Senior Manage, Compliance and the Executive Director - Legal and Compliance to ensure effective participation in all group compliance activities and communications.The Analyst, Compliance will be responsible for assisting the Legal and Compliance function in ensuring that the Company adheres to and operates within its specific license requirements and all applicable standards, laws, regulations and requirements in the UAE and the ADGM. You will be accountable for effective following and implementation of compliance processes, policies, and procedures, while working closely with senior management to maintain a strong culture of compliance.Transitional assistance: Assist the Senior Manager, Compliance and the Company’s senior leadership with the transition of CCAD’s ethics and compliance program from a group-administered approach to an in house-led approach.Compliance program: Assist with the implementation and maintenance of an effective ethics and compliance program consistent with Cleveland Clinic’s global standards, group-wide policy and program requirements and applicable local laws and regulations to ensure corporate risks are appropriately managed. Implement periodic reviews of policies and procedures and create/provide education and training to ensure best practices are maintained.Internal compliance: Assist in reviewing and championing the Company’s compliance with functional policies, processes, procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.Internal reporting: Assist the Senior Manager, Compliance in providing regular compliance reports and metrics to executive leadership and the Board of Directors in line with governance requirements.Key areas of management responsibility: Code of Ethics: Assist with the implementation, interpretation, education and dissemination of a Code of Ethics.Risk assessment and analysis: Collaborate on the development of new policies and procedures, and help to assess organizational risks through process implementation.Ethics and Compliance investigations: Assist with investigations into reported compliance concerns.Conflict of Interest Disclosures: Process confidential disclosures relating to conflicts of interest, gifts and entertainment and protected acts in line with Ethics & Compliance Scorecard & Group PoliciesVendor Management: conduct due diligence on proposed Business Partners and work with shareholders to implement and manage group-wide initiatives.Data Protection: work closely with CCAD’s legal team to ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations and to investigate and act on breaches as necessary.Whistleblowing and Helpline: Help to manage confidential channels for reporting ethical violations, policy breaches and non-compliance ensuring that concerns are addressed promptly and fairly.AML, ABC: assist the Senior Manager, Compliance with anti-money laundering, anti-corruption and anti-bribery matters.Internal administration: Assist with the maintenance and management of processes, compliance analysis, and reporting of KPIs. Conduct data analysis for various compliance-related metrics and initiatives. Assist with the processing of agreements, invoices, payments, and purchase orders (POs) for the function. Ensure appropriate planning and timely delivery of all core and special projects.Ongoing improvement: conduct research and help to identify opportunities for continuous improvement of functional systems, processes and practices to improve business processes, productivity and operational efficiency.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor or graduate-level degree from an internationally recognized higher education institution.PREFERRED Additional qualifications in complianceMinimum of 3 years of experience in compliance, audit, or other risk-management function.Experience in UAE.PREFERRED Experience in entities with ADAA oversight. Experience in highly-regulated industries such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals and/or finance.
