Compliance Analyst

We are working with a major international law firm to hire a Compliance Analyst to join their team. In this role you will facilitate smooth client and matter inception procedures, conducting risk assessments and ensuring regulatory compliance across the firm's global network.The firm is looking for a compliance professional with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in client onboarding, risk, or compliance within a law firm environment. Candidates must possess a solid foundation in anti-money laundering regulations and customer due diligence, alongside strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail. The ideal candidate will combine a proactive, adaptable mindset with the strong written and verbal communication abilities required to engage effectively with internal stakeholders and maintain service excellence.The responsibilities will include:Executing day-to-day client onboarding workflows, ensuring strict adherence to anti-money laundering legislation and firm risk policies.Conducting customer due diligence, identity verification checks, and evaluating ownership structures for new and existing clients.Performing initial risk assessments, sanctions screening, politically exposed person checks, and adverse media monitoring.Liaising directly with fee earners and internal teams to gather necessary verification documentation and clear onboarding queries efficiently.Maintaining accurate client and matter records within internal risk management and case management software.Assisting with ongoing client monitoring, file updates, and routine compliance reporting across regional offices.Supporting the wider risk function by identifying opportunities to streamline onboarding processes and enhance operational efficiency.Please apply today to register your interest in this position.Ref: 1562
