This is net new role, and the successful candidate will be hired into an new position.LogisticsPay rate: $30-35Hybrid - Toronto (2-3x days onsite)JOB DESCRIPTIONInsight Global is looking for a Monitoring & Testing Specialist to support control testing and risk assessment activities across a financial services environment. This individual will be responsible for executing testing, monitoring, and operational activities to evaluate control effectiveness and ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves performing detailed reviews of business processes and artifacts, analyzing data to identify risks or gaps, and providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders. The candidate will conduct complex testing and fieldwork, document findings, and support issue identification and root cause analysis. They will also create and maintain testing documentation including workpapers and reports, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate service delivery. This position requires strong analytical thinking, the ability to work independently on complex tasks, and the ability to partner with internal stakeholders to drive effective risk and control outcomes.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE3+ years of experience in risk, compliance, audit, or control testingExperience executing control testing and evaluating control effectivenessStrong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and identify issuesExperience performing reviews of business processes and documentationAbility to conduct root cause analysis and clearly communicate findingsStrong written and verbal communication skills Experience working with stakeholders across business unitsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesStrong documentation skills (testing reports, workpapers, findings)Post-secondary education or equivalent experienceNICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEExperience in banking or financial services environmentBackground in internal audit, compliance testing, or operational riskFamiliarity with regulatory frameworks and control standardsExperience with program or project managementExposure to enterprise-wide risk or governance functionsWe may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position.
