Team members join a growing organization with a long-standing reputation for performance and diversification in North American real estate.The Compliance Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Austin, TX, responsible for supporting regulatory and internal compliance across Sandalwood’s real estate portfolio. This role monitors and interprets relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, and helps ensure adherence through regular reviews of operational processes and documentation. The Compliance Analyst conducts audits and testing of internal controls, identifies potential compliance gaps or risks, and collaborates with finance and operations teams to implement corrective actions. This position prepares and maintains compliance reports and records, supports responses to regulatory inquiries, and assists with policy updates and training materials for team members. The role involves ongoing data analysis, process improvement, and clear communication with stakeholders to promote a strong culture of compliance and ethical conduct.QualificationsStrong Regulatory Compliance knowledge, including familiarity with real estate, financial, and corporate governance requirements relevant to property management.Advanced Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, assess risk, and draw clear, actionable conclusions.Effective Communication skills, including the ability to prepare concise reports, explain complex requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Foundational understanding of Finance and Auditing principles, including experience with internal controls, testing procedures, and documentation standards.Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, law, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other office productivity tools; experience with compliance or audit software is an asset.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Prior experience in compliance, audit, or risk management within real estate or financial services is preferred.Benefits/Compensation$70k - $80k commensurate with experience401kCompetitive Medical, Dental, and Vision packagesCompany paid Life and Long Term DisabilityEmployee Assistance Program
