The Compliance Analyst will monitor and assess regulatory requirements, support the design and implementation of internal controls, and perform regular reviews of processes to ensure adherence to applicable laws and company policies. Responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, preparing compliance reports, maintaining documentation, and supporting audits and regulatory examinations. The role will also involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, helping interpret new regulations, assisting in training programs, and contributing to continuous improvement of compliance frameworks.Qualifications Demonstrated experience in compliance, risk management, or a related regulatory function, preferably within financial services or technology.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into practical controls and procedures.Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., spreadsheets, dashboards) and comfort working with compliance documentation and reporting systems.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with legal, finance, operations, and technical teams.Knowledge of relevant Japanese regulatory frameworks and an interest in global compliance standards.Fluency in Japanese and business-level English, with strong written and verbal communication capabilities.Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications in compliance or risk management are an advantage.Ability to work on-site in Japan, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high ethical standards and attention to detail.
