They keep DVA safe, compliant and trusted, while giving the business the clarity it needs to move quickly. We're looking for a Compliance Analyst to sit at the heart of our AML/CFT operation in Dubai. Working directly with our CO/MLRO, you'll be the person who spots the transaction that doesn't add up, follows it on-chain, and builds a case that stands up to VARA and the UAE FIU. You'll get broad exposure across a VARA-licensed business and a fast track to growth.Ready to protect the future of finance? Let's talk.What you'll be doingReviewing onboarding and KYC/KYB files, including enhanced due diligence on high-risk customers, PEPs and complex corporate structuresInvestigating transaction monitoring and blockchain analytics alerts, tracing funds on-chain and escalating suspicious activity to the MLRODrafting STRs/SARs for the MLRO to file with the UAE Financial Intelligence Unit via goAMLScreening customers and transactions against UAE and UN sanctions lists, including the UAE Local Terrorist List, and supporting targeted financial sanctions obligationsRunning VARA Travel Rule checks, including due diligence on counterparty VASPs and monitoring for transfers structured to avoid thresholdsCarrying out testing under the compliance monitoring plan and tracking findings through to closureKeeping our AML/CFT policies, procedures and registers up to date and audit-ready for VARA inspectionsSupporting regulatory reporting and requests from VARA and other UAE authoritiesWhat you'll needCAMS certification (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, awarded by ACAMS)2–4 years in AML/CFT or financial crime compliance, ideally at a VASP, exchange, payments firm or bankExperience working in the UAE, with a working knowledge of UAE federal AML/CFT law, goAML and VARA's AML/CFT and Travel Rule requirementsHands-on use of blockchain analytics tools (e.g. Chainalysis, Elliptic, TRM Labs)A sharp investigative mindset: you ask why something looks off and keep pulling the threadClear, concise writing that turns a messy investigation into a defensible caseUAE residency, or the ability to relocate to DubaiFluency in EnglishNice to haveExperience preparing for or supporting a VARA inspection or licence applicationKnowledge of other regimes (e.g. ADGM FSRA, MiCA, FATF guidance for virtual assets)Arabic language skillsOur commitmentBuilding the most trusted platform in digital assets isn't enough on its own.
