Compliance Analyst, Crypto

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Analyst to join our Group compliance team. The role focuses on daily trade surveillance, fiat transaction monitoring, and virtual asset analytics (KYT/KYA). The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring client trading activities, identifying suspicious transactions, investigating alerts, and supporting the firm's compliance with SFC, AML/CFT, market conduct and internal regulatory requirements.This role is ideal for candidates with 1–2 years of experience in KYA/KYT, transaction monitoring, trade surveillance, AML investigations, or compliance monitoring within a licensed corporation, brokerage, bank, or financial institution(FI).Key Responsibilities:Perform daily trade surveillance reviews and monitoring activities to identify potential market misconduct and suspicious trading patterns.Conduct trade reconstruction and analysis using trading data and client information.Analyse wallet transfers related to risk exposure and blockchain screening.Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, controls, and ongoing monitoring programs.Provide guidance and support to various departments on compliance matters.Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely and accurate regulatory reporting.Stay abreast of regulatory developments and ensure the organization’s compliance framework remains current and effective.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in law, Finance, Business, or a related field.At least 1-2 years within the cryptocurrency industry in crypto compliance, and at least 5 years of experience in trade surveillance and AML transaction monitoring within an SFC-licensed firm or FI.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.Experience in KYT analytical tools (e.g. Chainalysis, Eliptics) is a strong plus
