Compliance Coordinator & Financial Analyst – Dubai, UAEdeVere Acuma is seeking a highly organised and analytical professional to join our Dubai office in a dual-function role covering Compliance Coordination and Financial Analysis.This position combines compliance oversight, financial analysis and quality assurance within an international wealth management environment. It is suited to someone with strong attention to detail, sound financial knowledge and the ability to review documentation and identify potential compliance or advisory issues.Compliance Coordinator:As Compliance Coordinator, you will support the effective operation of the compliance function across the region, ensuring appropriate records, reviews and reporting are maintained.You will:Support ongoing compliance monitoring and internal review processesIdentify and document discrepancies, concerns or potential compliance issuesEscalate matters requiring further investigation or clarificationMaintain accurate compliance records and statisticsProvide regular updates and reporting to the Compliance TeamManage the Compliance shared inboxSupport Advisers and relevant departments with complaint mattersAssist with the ongoing development and improvement of compliance processesWhere required, the role may include client confirmation calls using established compliance frameworks. These calls are for verification and quality-assurance purposes only and do not involve providing financial advice.Financial Analyst:As Financial Analyst, you will independently review advisory reports prepared by Financial Consultants to assess whether the advice provided is consistent with the client’s documented financial circumstances, objectives and requirements.You will:Review financial analysis, supporting information and recommendationsAssess whether advice is appropriately supported by the client’s documented circumstances and objectivesIdentify inconsistencies, missing information or areas requiring clarificationProvide observations and feedback where amendments are requiredComplete applicable reviews and sign off advisory reports where requirements have been satisfiedSupport consistent quality and compliance standards across the advice processThe Financial Analyst provides an independent review and quality-assurance function and does not replace the Financial Consultant’s responsibility for preparing and providing financial advice.Additional Responsibilities:Maintain compliance and Consultant statistics and reportingPrepare periodic compliance reports for regional managementMaintain records across Excel, Word, CORE, SharePoint and internal systemsCollaborate with regional teams to identify process improvementsCoordinate product training with institution representatives and prepare relevant questionnairesEnsure effective filing and record managementSupport additional compliance and analytical requirements as neededWhat We’re Looking For:Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detailGood understanding of financial products and wealth managementAbility to review financial information objectively and identify inconsistenciesStrong organisation, reporting and record keeping skillsConfident using Excel, Word and digital systemsAbility to handle confidential and sensitive information professionallyStrong written communication skillsPrevious experience within financial services, compliance, financial analysis or wealth management would be highly advantageousThis is an excellent opportunity to take on a varied and responsible role within our Dubai operation, working across compliance, financial analysis and quality assurance within an international wealth management business.Please attach your CV when applying.
