Apply & track with Apply EdgeAbout the roleNH Management provides corporate services to clients across DIFC, ADGM and mainland Dubai. Our Compliance team handles client onboarding, KYC, AML and day-to-day regulatory work for all three, and we're looking for an intern to join us.This role suits a recent graduate, or someone early in their career, who wants hands-on compliance experience rather than a classroom view of it. You'll work directly with the Head of Compliance / MLRO on live client files. We'll give you plenty of guidance along the way, and we'd rather you ask a question than guess.What you'll be doing· Reviewing KYC and due diligence documents for new and existing clients, and flagging anything missing, expired or inconsistent· Helping with onboarding and periodic reviews, including working out who the shareholders, directors and ultimate beneficial owners are· Running sanctions, PEP and adverse media screening, and helping with client risk assessments· Keeping KYC records and compliance trackers up to date, and following up with clients and colleagues on outstanding items· Doing regulatory research when a question comes up, and getting to know our internal policies and procedures as you go· Preparing work for review by the Head of Compliance / MLRO· Helping with wider compliance projects and some adminWhat we're looking for· A degree (completed or in progress) in Law, Business, Finance, Accounting or a related subject· An interest in AML, KYC and financial crime. You don't need to be an expert yet.· A careful eye. Much of this job is spotting the one date or name that doesn't match.· Good organisation, and the ability to keep several files moving at once· Clear written and spoken English· Confidence with Word and Excel· Discretion. You'll be handling confidential client information.Nice to haveAny exposure to AML/KYC, client onboarding, sanctions or PEP screening, corporate documents or financial services, whether through study, a previous internship or work, will help. It isn't required.What you'll get out of itYou'll get real experience in KYC and corporate due diligence, risk assessment, screening and compliance monitoring, and you'll see how a regulated corporate services firm works day to day. It's a good foundation if you're thinking about a career in compliance or financial crime.
