Compliance Manager

Compliance Manager | Reinsurance | London | I’m exclusively recruiting for a Compliance Manager with a specialist reinsurance business in the London market.This is a great opportunity for someone with strong reinsurance compliance experience who wants to take ownership of a broad compliance remit. They’re open to someone stepping up into their first management role, as well as an experienced Compliance Manager.What the role covers:• Owning the compliance policies and procedures framework and annual Compliance Monitoring Plan• FCA regulatory reporting end-to-end, including internal review and approval• Licensing documentation, permissions and renewals across the operating entities• Broker TOBA management and annual broker checks• Managing the outsourced compliance provider• Coordinating internal audits and external control testing• Governance and company secretarial support, including Board and committee coordination• Compliance training, Board reporting and issue management• Supporting the reinsurance entity and European branch/operationsWhat they’re looking for:• Reinsurance experience is essential• Compliance experience within an insurer or reinsurer, ideally within the London market• Strong, hands-on FCA regulatory reporting experience• Someone comfortable getting into the detail and managing the day-to-day compliance agenda• International / European entity or branch experience would be beneficialUseful but not essential: SOX control testing, GDPR/privacy exposure and OneTrust (or similar).
