This Compliance Manager role is ideal for a hands-on compliance professional who enjoys building processes, identifying risk, working with data and technology, and leading a team. The Compliance Manager will play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting audits, developing training programs, and partnering with HR, Operations, Legal and Payroll to strengthen compliance practices across the organization.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain enterprise-wide compliance programs, policies and governance frameworksServe as a subject matter expert on compliance and advise Leadership and Operations on regulations, policies and ethical practicesLead, coach and develop the Compliance team, including performance expectations, training, workload management and accountabilityMonitor federal, state and local employment laws and staffing-industry regulations and assess business impactResearch emerging regulatory requirements, identify risks and recommend mitigation strategiesDevelop and deliver compliance training and awareness programs across the organizationPartner with HR, Operations, Legal and Payroll on compliance initiatives and consistent policy applicationOversee onboarding compliance, including employment documentation, client-specific requirements, I-9 processes and audit controlsBuild and manage compliance monitoring, auditing and quality assurance programsDevelop compliance dashboards, KPIs and reporting for executive leadershipMaintain compliance records, including investigations, audit findings, training records and corrective actionsLead enterprise-wide compliance risk assessments and strengthen internal controls and processesLead or support internal investigations in partnership with HR and LegalServe as a confidential resource for compliance questions and ethical concernsOversee internal and external audits and client compliance assessmentsEvaluate compliance vendors and technology to improve efficiency and reduce riskIdentify opportunities to improve compliance processes, reporting, governance and monitoring systemsRequirementsExperience in compliance, HR compliance, staffing compliance, risk or a related fieldPrevious people leadership experience, including experience leading a small teamStrong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, reporting and data analysisStrong technology skills and comfort learning and utilizing AI toolsExperience evaluating processes, identifying gaps and implementing improvementsKnowledge of employment-related compliance and regulatory requirementsStrong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and adjust quickly in a high-volume environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with HR, Operations, Legal and PayrollFormal education is not required; relevant experience and knowledge will be consideredDetailsCompensation: $80,000-$100,000/year, depending on experience Benefits: Benefits offered; Medical, Vision, dental, 401(k)Location: Hillside, ILWork Model: Fully onsiteSchedule: Monday-Friday, core hours of 8:00 AM-5:00 PM; department coverage spans 7:00 AM-6:00 PMIf you are ready to use your compliance leadership, technology and process improvement skills to make an impact within a growing organization, apply today.Thank you,Katie WebbProject ManagerLaSalle NetworkLNOSHRLaSalle Network is an Equal Opportunity Employer m/f/d/v.
