Compliance Officer

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Officer (UAEN) to lead and enhance the compliance framework. In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the organization operates in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. You will also provide strategic advice to the executive leadership team and Board on regulatory obligations, compliance risks, and governance matters.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related disciplineProfessional compliance certification is an advantageMinimum 3 years of experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory roles, preferably within a regulated industryAt least 1 year of experience working in the Compliance Department of a publicly listed company is required.Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, governance, and risk managementExcellent knowledge of labour laws and regulatory requirementsExperience conducting investigations and handling confidential compliance mattersProficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systemsExcellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and EnglishKey Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate governance requirementAct as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities and manage inspections, audits, and regulatory communicationMonitor regulatory changes and recommend appropriate compliance actionDevelop, implement, and continuously improve the company's compliance program and annual compliance planDeliver compliance training and promote awareness across the organizationPrepare compliance reports for Executive Management, the Audit Committee, and the Board of DirectorsCoordinate internal reviews, external audits, and ensure timely implementation of corrective actionsPartner with Legal, Internal Audit, Risk, and business teams to strengthen compliance oversightConduct investigations into compliance breaches and oversee corrective actionManage whistleblower and fraud reporting processes while fostering a strong culture of ethics and integrityIn support of Emiratization initiatives and the organization's commitment to developing local talent, qualified Emirati professionals are encouraged to apply.
