Compliance Officer (Emirati)We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join a leading business based in Dubai. This role is responsible for ensuring the business operates in line with all applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, and governance standards.The successful candidate will work closely with key stakeholders across the business to promote a strong compliance culture, monitor regulatory obligations, and support the implementation of robust compliance frameworks.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure the organisation complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.Monitor changes to regulatory requirements and assess their impact on the business.Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures.Conduct compliance monitoring reviews and identify areas for improvement.Provide guidance to employees on compliance-related matters and regulatory requirements.Assist with internal investigations and support the resolution of compliance issues.Maintain compliance registers, records, and documentation.Prepare compliance reports for senior management and regulators where required.Support internal and external audits by providing relevant documentation and information.Deliver compliance training and promote awareness across the organisation.Work closely with Risk, Legal, HR, and other business functions to ensure effective governance.Escalate any compliance breaches or regulatory concerns appropriately.Skills & ExperienceEmiratiBachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related discipline.2–5 years of experience within Compliance, Risk, Governance, Internal Controls, or Regulatory Affairs.Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance best practices.Understanding of AML, KYC, sanctions screening, and regulatory compliance principles is advantageous.
