Role Description The Director role at JIMMY'S ARCHITECTS & BUILDERS is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The Director will oversee overall business operations, including project planning, execution, and delivery across architectural, structural, construction, interior, and renovation services. This role involves leading multidisciplinary teams, managing client relationships, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and driving financial performance. The Director will also contribute to strategic planning, business development, and process improvement to support sustainable growth. Regular responsibilities include reviewing project designs and budgets, approving key decisions, mentoring senior staff, and representing the company with clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.QualificationsProven leadership experience in architecture, construction, or real estate, with the ability to oversee multidisciplinary project teams.Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.Knowledge of architectural and structural design principles, construction methodologies, and interior design best practices.Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, quality standards, and compliance requirements relevant to Chennai and broader Indian markets.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills for working with clients, vendors, and regulatory authorities.Strategic thinking and business development capabilities, including experience in growing client portfolios and improving operational efficiency.Ability to work on-site in Chennai, make timely decisions, and provide hands-on oversight at project locations as needed.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; professional registrations or certifications are an advantage.
