Limited's Employability division.The role will focus on ensuring learner records, programme documentation, funding evidence and operational processes meet relevant regulatory, awarding organisation and organisational requirements.The postholder will work closely with the Funding & Compliance Manager and operational teams to identify compliance risks, complete scheduled and risk-based checks, monitor corrective actions and support colleagues in maintaining compliant practice.The role is primarily focused on compliance assurance rather than ownership of wider quality assurance activity.Duties and ResponsibilitiesCompliance Auditing and MonitoringConduct regular compliance audits of learner records, programme documentation and associated evidenceReview enrolment, eligibility, progression, achievement and leaver documentation where applicableCheck that required documentation is complete, accurate, timely and appropriately evidencedIdentify non-compliance risks and record findings clearlyMonitor corrective actions through to completionEscalate significant or recurring compliance issues to the Funding & Compliance ManagerRegistration and certification with multiple varying Awarding Organisations, ensuring full compliance is upheldFunding and Regulatory ComplianceUnderstanding of funding rules across multiple areas of Funded Training, including, but not limited to, Adult Skills Fund, Free Courses for Jobs and Skills BootcampsUnderstanding of evidence relating to learner eligibility and programme funding requirementsMonitor compliance with relevant awarding organisation requirementsMaintain current knowledge of relevant compliance requirements affecting the provision and contracts heldCompliance Systems and DocumentationUtilise PICS to monitor compliance activity, action and compliance deadlinesMaintain accurate compliance records, trackers and audit logsEnsure compliance actions are clearly documented and appropriately evidencedEnsure learner management systems contain accurate and complete compliance evidenceKey AccountabilitiesThe Compliance Officer will be accountable for:Completing assigned compliance checks within agreed timescalesMaintaining accurate and reliable compliance recordsIdentifying and escalating material compliance risksEnsuring compliance actions are appropriately tracked and followed throughSupporting enrolment and operational teams to resolve compliance issues promptlyContributing to successful external audits and compliance reviewsMaintaining professional knowledge of relevant funding, regulatory and contractual requirements Person SpecificationEssential ExperienceExperience working in a compliance, administration, audit or regulated operational environmentExperience reviewing detailed documentation for accuracy and completenessExperience working with systems, records and dataExperience working to deadlines and managing competing prioritiesExperience communicating effectively with colleagues across different teamsDesirable ExperienceExperience within Adult Skills, Skills Bootcamps, Apprenticeships, further education, qualifications or trainingExperience auditing learner records working knowledge of Microsoft 365, particularly Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, filtering, sorting and data analysis), together with Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams, to support
