Headquartered in the UAE, with production facilities in Sharjah spanning 7,000 square meters and more than 100 employees, ENATA offers a collaborative environment dedicated to technological excellence and global competitiveness.Role Description:The Composite Structural Engineer - Marine is responsible for the design, analysis, optimization, and validation of composite structures for marine vessels. The role covers structural calculations, laminate design, FEA, material selection, manufacturing support, testing, and technical documentation.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign composite structures including hulls, decks, bulkheads, superstructures, stringers, frames, panels, foundations, and reinforcements.Develop structural concepts considering strength, stiffness, weight, fatigue, impact resistance, and manufacturability.Define laminate schedules, ply orientations, core materials, resin systems, bonded joints, inserts, and local reinforcements.Perform structural calculations and FEA for composite and sandwich structures.Analyze static strength, stiffness, buckling, fatigue, vibration, and structural failure modes.Evaluate marine loads including hydrostatic, hydrodynamic, slamming, lifting, machinery, and operational loads.Optimize composite structures to reduce weight while maintaining required safety and structural margins.Support structural integration with propulsion systems, tanks, machinery, deck equipment, and other vessel systems.Prepare calculations and documentation in accordance with applicable marine classification requirements.Support composite manufacturing processes including prepreg, vacuum infusion, vacuum bagging, bonding, and sandwich construction.Review manufacturing deviations and non-conformities and develop technically justified repair or reinforcement solutions.Support structural testing, prototype development, sea trials, and validation activities.Prepare structural calculation reports, FEA reports, laminate specifications, drawings, ply books, and engineering documentation.Participate in design reviews, technical investigations, root-cause analysis, and engineering change processes.
