Compressor Technician

Role Description This is a full-time role for a Compressor Technician at ARAS Medical. The Compressor Technician will be responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining medical air compressors and associated equipment in healthcare and/or industrial environments. Daily tasks include conducting preventive and corrective maintenance, performing inspections and performance tests, diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, and ensuring systems comply with relevant safety standards. The role involves reviewing technical documentation, preparing maintenance reports, coordinating with engineering teams and clients, and providing guidance on safe operation of compressed air systems. The technician will also support installation and commissioning activities, assist in remote technical support, and contribute to continuous improvement of maintenance procedures.QualificationsStrong technical skills in maintenance and repair of air compressors.Ability to diagnose mechanical and basic electrical issues, interpret technical drawings and manuals, and perform systematic troubleshooting.Competence in using hand tools, testing instruments, and monitoring equipment related to compressed air systems.Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, engineering teams, and vendors, and for writing clear service and maintenance reports.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage remote assignments.Relevant technical diploma or degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and/or relevant work experience.UAE driving license holders will be given preference.
