As we expand our presence in the market, we're seeking talented professionals to join our team and help us drive positive change in the world.Position Overview:EFAS Technologies is looking for a Hydraulics/Fluid Dynamics Engineer to join our dynamic team. We are seeking an individual with a background in data science and Python programming, as well as expertise in hydraulic modeling and fluid dynamics. If you are passionate about using your skills to make a meaningful impact, we want to hear from you.Responsibilities:• Collaborate with our data science team to develop and implement hydraulic models for water distribution networks.• Apply fluid dynamics principles to simulate and analyze the behavior of water in pipelines.• Utilize Python programming for data analysis, modeling, and simulation.• Work closely with the AI development team to enhance the accuracy of our AI-driven leak detection system.• Assist in the design, execution, and interpretation of hydraulic tests.• Collect, manage, and process data relevant to hydraulic modeling.• Provide technical support to customers and internal teams as needed.• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.Qualifications:• A Master’s degree in data science, hydraulics, water resources, or related engineering field.• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in hydraulic modeling with demonstrated knowledge of system hydraulics, hydraulic modeling software, flow factor development and projections, alternative scenario analysis, or related experience.• Strong data analysis skills• Strong proficiency in Python/ C++ for data analysis and modeling.• Experience with software commonly used in hydraulic modeling (AutoCAD, ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, Epanet).• Solid understanding of fluid dynamics principles and numerical methods.• Understanding or experience with water distribution systems is a plus• Ability to travel as required for project/client and business development responsibilities.• Must have the ability to work both independently, with limited supervision, and as part of a multi-tasking team.• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.Salary and Benefits:EFAS Technologies offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
