Promoted by professionals with decades of industrial sales experience, Micro Turners focuses on delivering application-specific, right-fit products and solutions that meet diverse customer needs and long-term growth plans.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) Programmer role based in Baddi. The CAM Programmer will develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for machining operations, ensuring efficient production of automotive components with high precision and minimal waste. Responsibilities include interpreting engineering drawings and 3D models, selecting appropriate cutting tools and machining strategies, and simulating toolpaths to prevent errors. The role involves close collaboration with design, production, and quality teams to troubleshoot manufacturing issues, improve cycle times, and support new product development. The CAM Programmer will also document process parameters, maintain program libraries, and adhere to safety and quality standards within the plant.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong CAM and CNC programming skills, including experience with common CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, NX, or similar) and G-code creation for milling and turning operations.Candidates should possess solid engineering and manufacturing knowledge, including understanding of machining processes, tooling selection, fixture design, and interpretation of engineering drawings and GD&T.Candidates should possess skills in process optimization and problem-solving, such as analyzing cycle times, improving toolpaths, reducing scrap, and addressing production issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Candidates should possess proficiency in CAD tools and digital documentation, including working with 3D models, maintaining program libraries, and preparing clear process and setup instructions.Candidates should possess attention to detail and quality focus, ensuring adherence to quality standards, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with relevant certifications or customer requirements.Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field) from a recognized institution is preferred.Prior experience in an automotive components or precision machining environment, especially in forging and machining operations, will be an advantage.Candidates should possess effective communication skills, ability to work in a team, and readiness to operate in a fast-paced, on-site manufacturing setting in Baddi
