Backed by ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and API Q1, 6A, 16A, 16C certifications, MTQ Engineering LLC focuses on high-quality, compliant, and responsive solutions for energy sector operations.Role Description The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist role at MTQ Engineering LLC is a full-time, on-site position based in Abu Dhabi. The CNC Machinist will set up, program, and operate CNC machines to produce precision components for pressure control equipment and other oilfield tools, ensuring adherence to engineering drawings and specifications. Responsibilities include selecting appropriate tooling, monitoring machining operations, performing routine adjustments, and maintaining equipment to achieve optimal performance and minimize downtime. The role involves inspecting finished parts using measuring instruments, documenting results, and working with the quality team to resolve non-conformities. The CNC Machinist will collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to support continuous improvement, safe work practices, and efficient workflow in a high-volume manufacturing environment.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Machine Operation skills, including CNC setup, programming, and safe operation of high-end machining equipment.Candidates should possess solid Machining and Milling skills for producing precision components to tight tolerances based on technical drawings and process plans.Candidates should possess Quality Control skills, including use of measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges), visual inspection, and documentation of inspection results.Candidates should possess experience working with industrial Machinery in a heavy engineering or oilfield manufacturing environment, including basic preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.Relevant technical diploma or vocational qualification in machining, mechanical engineering, or manufacturing technology.Experience as a CNC machinist or turner/miller in oil and gas, heavy industry, or precision engineering is highly beneficial.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and technical standards (API, ISO) and apply them to daily work.Aw
