The mentor will guide students through core computer science concepts, programming fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and interview-focused problem solving. Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering classroom sessions, conducting doubt-clearing and practice labs, reviewing assignments, and providing personalized feedback to help learners improve. The mentor will assist in designing and updating learning materials, coordinating with other trainers to align curricula with tech placement requirements, and tracking student progress and outcomes. The role also involves mentoring students on soft skills such as communication, teamwork, and professional behavior to prepare them for campus and off-campus recruitment drives.Qualifications Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and databases.Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in placements (such as C, C++, Java, or Python) and familiarity with coding platforms used for interview practice.Experience teaching, mentoring, or training students in technical subjects, with the ability to explain complex topics in a clear and structured manner.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse learner groups and provide constructive feedback.Comfort with designing and using learning materials, assessments, and practice problems tailored for tech job preparation.Ability to work on-site in Kanyakumari district, collaborate with a team, and manage classroom schedules and student cohorts efficiently.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field; prior experience in training, edtech, or campus placement preparation is an advantage.Awareness of current industry trends, common interview patterns at major tech companies, and a strong interest in helping students build successful careers.
