The team is dedicated to creating practical, industry-relevant learning experiences that help learners succeed in competitive recruitment processes.Role Description This full-time on-site role, based in Chennai, is for a Computer Science Mentor who is NET/SET qualified or holds a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline. The mentor will guide learners through core computer science concepts, exam preparation, and placement-focused training using structured curricula and practical examples. Responsibilities include delivering interactive sessions, clarifying complex topics, creating and reviewing learning materials, and providing individual academic support and feedback to learners. The mentor will collaborate with other educators and program managers to improve course content, align teaching methods with industry demands, and track learner progress. The role also involves maintaining a learner-centric, inclusive classroom environment and participating in workshops, bootcamps, and other FACE Prep programs as needed.Qualifications NET/SET qualification in Computer Science or a closely related field, or a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar discipline.Strong foundation in computer science subjects such as data structures, algorithms, operating systems, computer networks, databases, and programming languages.Experience in teaching, mentoring, or training students for competitive exams, campus placements, or technical interviews.Ability to design and deliver engaging instructional content, including lectures, problem sets, practice tests, and hands-on activities.Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in a clear, accessible manner.Comfort with educational technology tools, online learning platforms, and digital resources for content delivery and assessment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an aptitude for guiding learners through logical reasoning and coding challenges.Collaborative mindset, openness to feedback, and willingness to continuously upgrade subject knowledge and teaching practices.Prior experience in the tech industry, academic research, or curriculum development is an advantage.Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory, learner-focused mentoring that supports students from diverse backgrounds.
