The Computer Technician is responsible for providing hands-on technical support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and basic networking equipment. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing hardware and software issues, performing computer maintenance and repairs, installing and updating operating systems and applications, and ensuring devices are properly configured and secure. The role also involves responding to user support requests, documenting issues and resolutions, and coordinating with other IT team members or vendors when needed. The technician is expected to maintain an organized workspace, follow company IT policies, and contribute to a positive and efficient support experience for all users.QualificationsStrong technical support skills, including responding to user requests, diagnosing issues, and providing clear, user-friendly guidance.Proficiency in computer maintenance and computer repair, including hardware installation, component replacement, and routine system upkeep.Solid troubleshooting abilities for both hardware and software problems, with a systematic approach to identifying root causes.Working knowledge of major operating systems (such as Windows, macOS, and common Linux distributions) and basic system configuration.Relevant technical certification or diploma (e.g. IT support-related qualification) is preferred.Ability to work on-site in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to following IT security and data protection practices.
