Job Title: Computer Vision/Deep Learning Scientist (Various Levels) Location: Atlanta, GA 30308 (HYBRID: 2x/Week onsite)Contract duration: 6+ Months, Long-term.Industry: Rail Transportation. ***NOTES: If outside of the Atlanta area, the candidate can be fully remote.What are our requirements:Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, Statistics, or related field.Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant industry experience (as a Computer Vision Scientist, Data Scientist, Research Scientist, Machine Learning Scientist, etc.), 3+ preferred; or proven qualifications.Excellent knowledge of Python and industry experience with PyTorch or other Deep Learning tools.Industry experience with Deep Learning (semantic segmentation, object detection, classification).What will be your duties:The candidate will be working on the Digital Train Inspection project.Design, develop, and implement novel computer vision algorithms for unique use cases.Design and build novel/custom Deep Learning architectures.Evaluate accuracy and quality of the designed models as well as data sources.Design and develop production-ready code.Coordinate with application development teams to integrate developed models with existing applications.Manage the complete model development life-cycle – from requirements gathering to post-production support.Communicate results to colleagues, business partners, and senior management.Guide junior team members and oversee targeted research and team projects.Lead hiring efforts and candidate evaluation.
