What you'll doThis role blends applied computer vision with software development, spanning everything from research and experimentation to production deployment. You'll work on the core technology behind our brand-protection platform, including:Designing and improving computer vision algorithms for product authentication, counterfeit detection, and image-based quality verificationBuilding and maintaining image processing pipelines, from acquisition through analysis to integration with mobile and backend systemsPrototyping and evaluating new CV/AI approaches, and taking promising ones from research into productionCollaborating closely with the system architect, fellow CV engineers, and software developers to integrate vision components into the broader platformContributing to our growing portfolio of patented technologiesYou're a great fit if you have5+ years' experience in computer vision (industry or advanced research)Strong foundation in both classical and AI-based CV (object detection, feature extraction, segmentation, tracking…)Hands-on skills with Python (image processing, AI/ML pipelines, data analysis), and a solid grasp of core libraries (OpenCV, scikit-image, Pillow, PyTorch/TensorFlow)Understanding of mathematical foundations (linear algebra, calculus, statistics, probability)Experience with software practices (OOP, design patterns, containerization tools, version control with git)A research mindset, yet excited to see your models in productionBonusWorking knowledge of image acquisition fundamentals, including optics, illumination, and the underlying physics of image formation (e.g. lens characteristics, depth of field, light behavior and spectral properties, exposure and sensor response)Practical experience selecting and configuring sensors, lenses and light sources for specific imaging tasksExperience in industrial domains, Qt, cloud deployment, UI designWhat makes us differentDirect impact: Your work moves the needle - every idea can become a production featureTrust & teamwork: A tight, supportive team where collaboration and initiative are valuedStartup energy: Flexible hours, extra vacation, wellness allowance, many fun team activities, and a cozy office environment in MalmöGrowth opportunities: Mentorship, inventing new solutions, expanding your role, and shaping company directionWhat we're looking forProblem-solver with excellent analytical and open-minded mindsetSelf-driven but collaborative - you own your tasks and actively engage with the teamMotivated by challenges and professional ambitionsAdditional detailsPermanent, full-time positionOnsite in Malmö with hybrid possibilitiesCandidates must already be based in SwedenStart date: as soon as possibleReady to shape the future of brand protection and computer vision?
