Computing Lecturer – Artificial Intelligence (AI) – APIIT Kandy CampusAPIIT Kandy Campus is seeking a passionate, dynamic, and committed Full-Time Lecturer to join our Computing academic team.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, and assessments in Artificial Intelligence and related Computing subjects.Develop and update course materials, lecture notes, practical exercises, and assessments.Teach areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Science, and related Computing modules.Guide students in practical projects, assignments, research, and final-year projects.Provide academic support and feedback to students to enhance their learning outcomes.Participate in curriculum development, academic activities, and departmental initiatives.Stay updated with emerging technologies, trends, and developments in AI and Computing.RequirementsBachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.A Master’s Degree or relevant postgraduate qualification in AI, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline will be an added advantage.Strong knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts and applications.Previous teaching, lecturing, tutoring, or academic experience in Computing/AI is preferred.Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.Ability to engage students through practical and industry-relevant teaching methods.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.Ability to work effectively as part of an academic team.Location: KandyEmployment Type: Full-Time
