CONCEPT DESIGN - BIM Architect / CAD Draftsman

BIM/CAD Architect/Draftsman – Concept Design We are seeking a highly skilled and code experienced BIM/CAD Architect/Draftsman – Concept Design to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing high-quality technical architectural drawings and/or BIM models with full code knowledge for compliance with Dubai's regulatory requirements and local building standards. (i.e Preliminary Submission for DM, DDA, Trakhees, etc). The candidate should also be able to produce the technical drawings and apartment layouts based on quick sketches from his/her seniors This position is ideal for professionals with strong, technical expertise, and hands-on experience working in an architectural consultancy environment within the UAE.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare code-complying technical architectural drawings, BIM models, and authority area calculationsDevelop concept design documentation, including plans, elevations, & sections.Produce high-quality Revit models with accurate BIM standards and project coordination.Collaborate closely with architects, urban designers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams during the concept development stage.Ensure all concept proposals comply with the Dubai Building Code and/or Dubai based applicable UAE regulations, and relevant authority requirements.Fully capable of individually preparing authority submission drawings and responding to technical comments.Can propose and workout apartment well designed apartment layouts, based on basic direction from his/her seniorMaintain BIM standards, templates, and project documentation.Coordinate architectural models with structural and MEP disciplines to identify and resolve design conflicts.Support project teams from concept through schematic design while maintaining design quality and project deadlines.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Architecture or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in an architectural consultancy, within the UAE.Strong proficiency in:Autodesk RevitAutoCADBIM workflows and standardsAdded Value but not must: Enscape, Lumion, or similar visualization software, Adobe Creative Suite, IndesignTechnical KnowledgeCandidates should demonstrate working knowledge of:Dubai Building Code (DBC)Dubai Municipality regulationsAuthority submission requirementsUAE accessibility standardsLocal planning and zoning regulationsBIM coordination and documentation standardsArchitectural detailing and construction documentationDesign coordination with multidisciplinary consultantsSkillsProblem solving skillsCan work independentlyAccurate and thorough in work accuracyExcellent attention to detailStrong conceptual drafting Ability to interpret design intent into accurate CAD Layouts / BIM modelsStrong communication and coordination abilitiesAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesTeam-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
