Concrete Structure Design Manager

Rawafid is seeking an experiencedConcrete Structure Design Engineer to lead and support structural engineering activities for water, wastewater, and industrial projects. The role will be responsible for developing detailed structural designs, calculations, specifications, drawings, cost estimates, and BOQs while ensuring compliance with applicable engineering codes, client requirements, and company standards.ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed structural design calculations based on field data, sound engineering assumptions, applicable codes, and standards for a variety of structures, including concrete and steel water tanks, steel structures, and other concrete structuresPrepare and review detailed structural design reports in accordance with company standards and client requirementsPrepare priced and unpriced Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and detailed project cost estimatesDevelop project structural specifications and technical documentationCreate, review, and coordinate engineering drawings and specificationsGuide draftsmen and BIM/modeling teams in producing required tender and design drawingsPerform structural calculations, simulations, load assessments, and capacity checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of designsCarry out civil load/capacity calculations and support the selection and design of appropriate equipment and materialsDevelop water and wastewater network designs using appropriate engineering softwareManage structural engineering activities and coordinate interfaces with other engineering disciplinesReview designs to ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, codes, and client specificationsProvide Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) for engineering deliverables and project workConduct site visits and coordinate with clients, consultants, and project teams as requiredSupport project execution and business development activities through effective technical communication and coordinationProvide technical guidance and support to the engineering team and contribute to effective project planning and deliveryRequirementsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering7-12 years of relevant structural engineering experience, preferably within water, wastewater, industrial, or construction projectsMinimum 7 years of in-Kingdom (Saudi Arabia) experiencePrevious experience in a managerial or senior engineering capacity is preferredValid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) certificationProfessional Engineer certification is preferredStrong knowledge and practical experience in structural design of concrete and steel structuresExperience with water and wastewater structures, including water tanks and related infrastructureStrong knowledge of structural engineering codes and standards, including SBC, ACI, ASTM, AWWA, and NWC specificationsAbility to prepare structural calculations, design reports, technical specifications, BOQs, and cost estimatesStrong ability to read, interpret, and review engineering and technical drawingsKnowledge of construction materials, concrete structures, steel structures, and construction engineeringUnderstanding of CAD/BIM workflows and structural modeling
