The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting condition monitoring demonstrations and field services covering vibration analysis, Motion Amplification, Motor Current Signature Analysis (MCSA), and infrared thermography. The role requires strong hands-on diagnostic capability, customer-facing communication, technical reporting, and the ability to translate inspection findings into practical maintenance and reliability recommendations.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant industrial experience and hands-on exposure to rotating equipment, electrical systems, predictive maintenance, and reliability programs. Furnace thermography and high-temperature inspection experience is specifically required.Key Responsibilities
- Conduct condition monitoring demonstrations for customers, including equipment demonstrations, application trials, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept activities.
- Perform vibration data collection and analysis for rotating machinery, identify abnormal vibration patterns, diagnose potential faults, and recommend corrective actions.
- Apply Level 2 Vibration Analysis knowledge to support machinery diagnostics including imbalance, misalignment, looseness, bearing defects, resonance, gear-related faults, and other common machine condition issues.
- Perform Motion Amplification inspections to visualize and identify structural and machinery movement, resonance, looseness, vibration sources, and other dynamic abnormalities.
- Conduct Motor Current Signature Analysis (MCSA) and related electrical condition monitoring activities to identify potential motor, rotor, stator, power-quality, and mechanical-load-related abnormalities.
- Conduct Level 2 infrared thermography inspections on electrical, mechanical, process, and industrial assets.
- Perform furnace thermography and high-temperature inspections, including thermal assessment of furnace/refractory conditions where applicable.
- Capture high-quality thermal and visual images and accurately interpret temperature patterns, thermal gradients, hot spots, and abnormal heat signatures.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative thermal analysis considering emissivity, reflected temperature, equipment loading, environmental conditions, and operating parameters.
- Develop inspection routes, data-collection plans, service procedures, and condition monitoring programs in coordination with customers and internal teams.
- Analyze collected condition monitoring data, assess severity, identify probable failure modes, and provide practical recommendations for maintenance and reliability teams.
- Prepare professional technical reports containing inspection methodology, equipment details, measurement data, images/plots, findings, severity classification, conclusions, and recommended actions.
- Conduct follow-up inspections and measurements to verify corrective actions and monitor equipment condition.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, equipment histories, databases, and customer service documentation.
- Support sales activities by identifying customer applications, recommending suitable condition monitoring solutions, and assisting with quotations, technical proposals, and demonstrations.
- Provide technical presentations, customer training, application support, and after-sales technical assistance for condition monitoring technologies.
- Coordinate with maintenance, reliability, operations, and engineering personnel during site activities and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with approved procedures, client requirements, HSE rules, and applicable industry standards and best practices.
- Be willing to travel extensively within Saudi Arabia and work at customer sites, including industrial, oil & gas, petrochemical, power, manufacturing, utilities, and other heavy-industry facilities.Qualifications & Certifications
- Engineering degree or technical diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, reliability, NDT, or industrial diagnostics.
- Valid Level 2 Vibration Analysis certification from a recognized certification/training body.
- Motion Amplification Level 1 certification/training or demonstrated practical experience with Motion Amplification technology.
- Practical knowledge/experience in Motor Current Signature Analysis (MCSA).
- Valid Level 2 Infrared Thermography certification from a recognized certification/training body.
- Proven hands-on furnace thermography and high-temperature inspection experience.
- Good knowledge of vibration measurement, FFT spectrum analysis, time waveform analysis, phase analysis, machine fault diagnosis, and condition assessment.
- Good knowledge of infrared theory, thermal measurement principles, emissivity, reflected temperature, heat transfer, and environmental effects on measurements.
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance, condition-based maintenance, reliability-centered maintenance concepts, and industrial asset health monitoring.
- Good technical report writing, data interpretation, troubleshooting, and customer presentation skills.Preferred Industrial Experience
- Oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, power generation, utilities, manufacturing, steel, cement, mining, or other heavy industrial environments.
- Experience with pumps, motors, compressors, fans, blowers, gearboxes, turbines, conveyors, bearings, and other rotating equipment.
- Experience with electrical panels, MCCs, transformers, motors, switchgear, and other electrical assets.
- Furnace, heater, kiln, refractory, or other high-temperature process inspection experience.
- Experience working within formal predictive maintenance or asset reliability programs.
- Customer-facing experience in equipment demonstrations, technical service delivery, troubleshooting, and application development.Saudi Arabia Requirements
- Candidate must currently be based in Saudi Arabia.
- Transferable Iqama is mandatory.
- Valid Saudi Arabian driving license is mandatory.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites across Saudi Arabia and undertake multiple-day site assignments when required.
