On your days off, why not enjoy the heritage towns of the local area with their abundance of elegant boutiques, artisan shops, cafes, pubs, wineries and restaurants.The Conference and Events Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based at Peppers Craigieburn in Bowral, NSW. This role is responsible for coordinating conferences, corporate, and social events from contract through to post-event follow-up, including managing bookings, preparing proposals, and confirming event details with clients. Day-to-day tasks include liaising with clients and internal teams, preparing event runsheets, coordinating room setups and AV requirements, and ensuring catering and accommodation arrangements meet client expectations. The Coordinator will work closely with Sales, Food and Beverage, Front Office, and Kitchen to deliver seamless events, resolve any issues, and maintain high standards of customer service. The role also involves maintaining accurate event documentation, updating systems, supporting site inspections, and contributing to the continual improvement of the conference and events offering.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to liaise effectively with clients and internal teams.Candidates should possess Event Planning and Event Management skills, including experience coordinating conferences, meetings, or corporate events.Relevant experience in hospitality, hotels, or venues, particularly in functions or events coordination, is highly beneficial.Familiarity with event management or hotel reservation systems and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) is advantageous.Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, to support event schedules.
