The stylish lobby and guest lounge create an inviting setting for relaxation, socializing, and memorable stays.Role Description The Conference and Events Executive is a full-time, on-site role based at Four Points® by Sheraton Accra Airport Hotel in Accra. This role is responsible for coordinating and executing conferences, meetings, and social events from initial inquiry through post-event follow-up. Day-to-day tasks include managing client communications, preparing proposals and contracts, arranging event logistics, coordinating room setups and audiovisual requirements, and liaising with catering, operations, and front office teams. The Executive monitors event timelines and budgets, ensures brand standards are upheld, and supports the delivery of high-quality guest experiences. The role also involves maintaining accurate event records, supporting sales activities, and contributing to continuous improvement of event processes and services.Qualifications Experience in conference and event planning, coordination, and execution within hospitality or a related industry.Strong client relationship management and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.Solid organizational and time management skills, including attention to detail, multitasking, and deadline management.Basic budgeting, forecasting, and reporting skills to support event costing and revenue tracking.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional hotel teams (sales, banquet, F&B, front office, housekeeping, and operations).Proficiency with office productivity software and event management tools; familiarity with hotel booking or property management systems is an advantage.Previous experience in a similar events or sales support role; experience with corporate meetings, social functions, and banqueting is beneficial.Relevant nachelor’s degree in marketing Management, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and responsive in fast-paced or changing situations.
