Configuration Lead

EPR Configuration LeadSCFH works in partnership with healthcare organisations to shape the future of healthcare and deliver meaningful change now.As we continue to grow, we are looking to connect with experienced EPR Configuration Leads to support NHS digital transformation and EPR programmes within acute Trust environments.This role is suited to someone with strong hands-on configuration experience who can take ownership of configuration activity across a workstream or programme. You will lead and coordinate system build, testing, workflow validation and release activity, helping to ensure the solution is configured safely, consistently and in line with operational and clinical requirements.You will work closely with Trust stakeholders, suppliers and wider delivery teams, providing clear direction to configuration teams and supporting successful delivery through to go-live and hypercare.What we’re looking forProven experience working within an acute NHS Trust environmentExperience leading configuration or build activity within an EPR or clinical systems programmeStrong hands-on experience of system build, configuration, testing and release activityExperience coordinating configuration resources, managing priorities and overseeing delivery against agreed plansA strong understanding of acute clinical and operational workflowsExperience working with clinical, operational, technical and supplier teamsThe ability to identify configuration risks, dependencies and issues and drive them through to resolutionConfident communication, stakeholder management and decision-making skillsA practical, organised and delivery-focused approachExperience with any of the following systems would be particularly helpfulNervecentre, Epic, Oracle Health/Cerner, Allscripts/Altera, MEDITECH, Lorenzo, System C, TPP SystmOne, EMIS, RiO, Mosaic, Dedalus, Sunrise, IMS MAXIMS, Cambio COSMIC, CareFlow, or other comparable EPR, PAS or clinical systems.The role will involveLeading and coordinating EPR configuration and build activityTaking ownership of configuration plans, priorities, dependencies and deliverablesProviding guidance and oversight to configuration team membersEnsuring configuration standards, documentation and governance processes are followedLeading workflow validation and design discussions with clinical and operational stakeholdersTranslating agreed requirements and workflows into safe and effective system configurationOverseeing testing activity, including test scripts, issue management and defect triageSupporting release planning, UAT, go-live readiness and hypercareMonitoring progress and providing clear updates on delivery, risks and issuesWorking closely with clinical, operational, technical and supplier teams to support successful deliveryImportantWe can only consider applicants with proven experience working within an acute NHS environment.
