This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified to junior lawyer to develop their contentious construction practice, working on high-value, complex construction and infrastructure disputes across the GCC, acting for major contractors, developers and employers on contentious matters.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting with a broad range of contentious construction and infrastructure disputes, including arbitration, litigation and adjudication.Advising and assisting clients on contractual disputes arising from EPC contracts, construction agreements and related project documentation.Supporting dispute resolution strategy, including risk assessment, case preparation and document review.Working on large-scale, high-value construction and infrastructure disputes across the region.Supporting partners and senior lawyers on major arbitration and court proceedings.Liaising with experts, counsel and clients throughout the dispute lifecycle.Developing technical knowledge of construction contracts, dispute resolution procedures and industry-specific issues.Candidate Profile:Qualified lawyer with up to 2 years' PQE, with relevant experience in contentious construction or construction disputes.Experience or exposure to arbitration, litigation or adjudication matters within the construction and infrastructure sectors.Good understanding of construction contracts, including EPC and FIDIC-based arrangements.Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills.Commercially aware with strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.Motivated, collaborative and keen to develop a career within a leading international disputes practice.Excellent academic and professional credentials with a genuine interest in construction law and dispute resolution.What’s on Offer:Opportunity to join a top-tier international law firm with a leading construction disputes practice in the Middle East.Exposure to high-profile regional construction and infrastructure disputes.Opportunity to work alongside leading partners on complex arbitration and litigation matters.Strong training, development and progression opportunities within a market-leading team.A collaborative and high-performing working environment.Excellent platform to build a long-term career in construction disputes.If you are looking to develop your construction disputes practice within one of the region's leading teams, we would welcome a confidential discussion.
