Construction Estimator/ Takeoff Specialist

We’re looking for an experienced Construction Estimator/ Takeoff Specialist to join our team.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare accurate quantity takeoffs from construction drawings and plans.Review drawings, specifications, and scope of work.Analyze project requirements and identify scope gaps or discrepancies.Perform detailed takeoffs for various construction materials and trades.Interpret and work confidently with architectural, structural, and civil drawings and trades.Organize takeoff quantities and prepare clear BOQs.Cross-check quantities against drawings, specifications, and project requirements.Identify missing information, conflicts, and discrepancies in drawings.Maintain organized takeoff files, marked-up drawings, and supporting documentation.Review addenda, revisions, and updated drawings and incorporate changes into takeoffs.Coordinate with project managers and estimating teams to clarify project scope.Complete takeoffs accurately within project deadlines.Manage multiple takeoff assignments while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.Assist the estimating team with project research and scope analysis when required.RequirementsProven experience in construction estimating and quantity takeoffs.Must be capable of working across architectural, structural, and civil trades.Strong knowledge of construction drawings, materials, and specifications.Proficiency in Bluebeam, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff, Excel, or similar tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.Ability to identify issues independently and develop practical solutions.Experience1-2 years of relevant experience in quantity takeoff.
