Construction Repair Technician - Multi-Trade Experience

Full Service Chimney™ | Spring Hill, KS $23–$28/hour, based on experience | Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Benefits + Advancement Put Your Construction Skills to Work in a Specialized Trade Full Service Chimney is hiring experienced construction workers to join our fireplace and chimney repair team. This hands-on, multi-trade position combines masonry, metal fabrication, mechanical systems, and residential construction. At least 2 years of hands-on construction or skilled trade experience required. Previous chimney or fireplace experience is NOT necessary; specialized training is provided. What You’ll Do Repair, rebuild, and install chimney and fireplace systems Perform masonry, concrete, metalwork, and fabrication tasks Work with gas fireplace systems, venting, and chimney liners Safely operate power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and equipment Work on residential rooftops and exterior structures year-round Troubleshoot problems and complete quality repairs as part of a skilled crew Transferable Trade Experience Experience in one or more of these areas is valuable: general construction and remodeling; brick masonry and concrete; welding, sheet metal, and fabrication; gas plumbing and mechanical systems; electrical and HVAC; roofing and flashing; carpentry and structural repairs. You do not need to know every trade. Position Requirements Minimum of 2 years of hands-on construction or skilled trade experience Strong measuring, basic math, and tool-handling skills Comfortable working outdoors year-round and at elevated heights Physically capable of lifting and handling construction materials weighing 60–80 lbs. Able to climb ladders, erect and work from scaffolding, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods Dependable, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and willing to learn Reliable daily transportation to Spring Hill, KS, or willingness to relocate Additional Employment Requirements Must be at least 18 years old Legally authorized to work in the United States Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Successful completion of required background check, drug screening, and fitness and aptitude assessments What We Offer $23–$28/hour is based on qualifications. The highest rate is reserved for candidates with relevant industry and/or chimney and fireplace certifications.
