The successful candidate will provide comprehensive anaesthesia services for a wide range of surgical and diagnostic procedures while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and quality care.Key Responsibilities Conduct pre-operative patient assessments and formulate individualized anaesthesia plans. Administer general, regional, and local anaesthesia for surgical and diagnostic procedures. Monitor patients before, during, and after anaesthesia, ensuring optimal recovery. Manage acute and chronic pain using evidence-based techniques. Respond promptly to emergency situations, including airway management and resuscitation. Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, intensivists, and nursing teams to deliver multidisciplinary patient care. Supervise junior physicians, residents, and allied healthcare professionals where applicable. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with hospital policies and regulatory requirements. Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives, audits, and continuing medical education. Ensure adherence to infection control, patient safety, and international clinical standardsRequirementsQualificationsMedical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Anaesthesiology (MD, DNB, Arab Board, FRCA, FANZCA, American Board, or equivalent). Eligibility for Consultant registration with the relevant UAE health authority (DOH/DHA/MOH) or a valid UAE Consultant license.
