The successful candidate will provide expert diagnostic breast imaging services, collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the delivery of exceptional, evidence-based patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform and interpret a full range of breast imaging examinations, including:Digital MammographyBreast UltrasoundBreast MRIDigital Breast Tomosynthesis (3D Mammography)Contrast-Enhanced Mammography (where applicable)Perform image-guided breast procedures, including:Ultrasound-guided biopsiesStereotactic biopsiesMRI-guided biopsiesWire localization and marker clip placementParticipate actively in multidisciplinary breast tumor board meetings.Collaborate with Breast Surgeons, Medical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Pathologists, and Primary Care Physicians to ensure coordinated patient care.Ensure timely and accurate reporting while maintaining the highest diagnostic standards.Participate in breast cancer screening programs and quality improvement initiatives.Mentor junior physicians, fellows, and radiology staff where applicable.Maintain compliance with DHA regulations, JCI standards, and hospital policies.Participate in continuing medical education, clinical research, and academic activities.QualificationsMedical Degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent).Completion of an accredited Radiology Residency Program.Fellowship training in Breast Imaging/Breast Radiology.Tier 1 qualification preferred (American Board, Canadian, UK CCT, Australian, or equivalent Western certification).Eligibility for DHA Consultant Licensure.Minimum 5 years of post-certification consultant experience preferred.Demonstrated expertise in advanced breast imaging and image-guided interventions.Skills & CompetenciesExpertise in breast cancer screening and diagnostic imaging.Strong procedural skills in breast interventions.Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.Commitment to evidence-based medicine and patient-centered care.Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail.Academic and research interests are an advantage.Why Join American Hospital Dubai?Join one of the UAE's leading private healthcare institutions.Work alongside internationally renowned physicians across multiple specialties.Access state-of-the-art imaging technology and advanced diagnostic equipment.Collaborative multidisciplinary Breast Care Program.Competitive tax-free compensation package.Comprehensive benefits package.Excellent opportunities for professional development, research, and continuing medical education.Enjoy an exceptional quality of life in Dubai, one of the world's safest and most dynamic cities.
